2024 iC2 Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI) Course
From August 6-8 and 12-14, 2024, teachers from iC2 attended the Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI) Course, which was conducted by world-renowned professionals in the field, Prof John Ravenscroft and Ms Elizabeth McCann.
As CVI is a fast-emerging medical diagnosis in developed countries, invitations were extended to other social service agencies and special education (SPED) schools working with students with CVI, including the Rainbow Centre, Society for the Physically Disabled (SPD), Fei Yue, Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH), and Guide Dogs.
Course participants included ophthalmologists, as well as speech, occupational, and physical therapists, along with teachers of students with special needs.
