Parents Konnect Primary is a network for parents who have children attending Primary Schools. In today’s series, Associate Vision Teacher Ms Natasha De Silva touched on the topic “Feedback On My Child Using Assistive Technology (AT) to Access The Curriculum”. Five families joined her to provide their feedback on using AT in classrooms. Our student, Matthew Ng, shared his view as he had joined in the meeting with his mother, Mrs Geraldine Ng. His insights were helpful for the families with younger students and beginning users of the AT devices. Parents shared how their children were using theirs AT machines.

After the sessions, the vision teachers at iC2 PrepHouse had a better understanding of tailoring their programmes. Listening to parents and how they feel AT has benefited their children gave us the determination to ensure our students are fully trained in their devices to become independent users.
