2019 The Gingerbread Man
Our clients and their family members were invited to an audio-described performance titled, “The Gingerbread Man” organised by Singapore Repertory Theatre’s (SRT) The Little Company. An original musical that had been recreated from the classic tale conveying the value of teamwork and friendship. It was a fun-filled musical coupled with vibrant songs and actions that kept our clients and family members moving to the beat! We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to SRT for providing them a memorable theatre experience.
2019 Macquarie Charity Bowling
iC2 PrepHouse would like to express our gratitude to Macquarie Group Services (Singapore) Pte. Limited for selecting us as one of the charities to be benefiting from this ten-pin bowling charity fundraising event organized by Macquarie. Our beneficiaries were invited as well to take part in this event for a leisure bowling session.
2019 Bowling @ J Fort Bowl
Our students had a delightful bowling session at the J Forte Bowl. With the friendly and patient coach guiding them, they managed to pick up skills from learning how to select a proper fit bowling ball for themselves to the finishing position arm swing drills.
2019 Kids Konnect @ Marine Cove Playground
Our young students had a fun day at the Marine Cove Playground with their parents and our staff. The students had lots of fun exploring this inclusive playground. There was lots of bonding between our students and parents. Good memories were made!
2019 Haw Par SDSC National Youth Athletics Championship
The Haw Par National Youth Athletics Championships 2019 is an annual event organized by the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) on 4 September 2019 at Home of Athletics, Kallang Practice Track. It aims to create opportunities for youths with disability to compete and to identify potential athletes to represent Singapore at major or international competitions.
This year we had 8 students participating in the 60m & 100m competitive and finisher races, as well as 2 parents who volunteered as sighted guides. It was a great opportunity for them to experience race events. All of them brought home a medal each and the youngest participant in this year’s races came from iC2!
2019 The Enabling Fund Gala
Now in its second year, The Enabling Fund Gala continues its goal of raising donations for the Mediacorp Enable Fund (MEF) and iC2 PrepHouse Limited (iC2), both organizations aimed at building an inclusive and supportive society for people with disabilities.
We are honoured to have the presence of our Guest of Honour, Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong, the TODAY Enable Fund’s patron. Special thanks to all our gracious donors, guests, clients and parents for making this event a successful one.
